Anthropic, the AI company behind the Claude language model, has unveiled a new feature called Workspaces in their API Console. This addition aims to streamline the management of multiple Claude deployments for developers, offering enhanced organisation, access control, and resource management capabilities.

Workspaces function as unique environments within the Anthropic API Console, allowing developers to organise resources, manage access controls, and set custom spend and rate limits at a more granular level. This feature is particularly beneficial for developers working with Claude across different environments such as development, staging, and production.

Workspaces also enhances account security by allowing user permissions to be assigned at the workspace level. This granular access control helps organisations maintain better oversight of their AI deployments and ensures that team members have appropriate levels of access to different projects or environments.
