NVIDIA has unveiled Enterprise Reference Architectures (Enterprise RAs), providing organisations with blueprints for building high-performance AI data centres, addressing the growing challenge of scaling accelerated computing infrastructure.

The new reference architectures offer detailed guidance for enterprises building AI factories - high-performance, scalable and secure data centres for AI workloads. This initiative comes as businesses increasingly transition from general-purpose to accelerated computing, facing challenges in designing infrastructure for evolving AI workloads.

The Enterprise RAs include three key components:

- Accelerated infrastructure utilising NVIDIA-Certified server configurations with the latest GPUs, CPUs, and networking technologies

- AI-optimised networking through the NVIDIA Spectrum-X AI Ethernet platform and NVIDIA BlueField-3 DPUs

- NVIDIA AI Enterprise software platform, featuring NeMo and NIM microservices for AI application deployment and Base Command Manager Essentials for infrastructure management

Nvidia state that organisations implementing solutions based on these reference architectures can expect five key benefits: accelerated time to market, optimised performance, enhanced scalability and manageability, improved security, and reduced complexity in deployment.

Dell Technologies, Hewlett Packard Enterprise, Lenovo, and Supermicro are offering solutions based on these reference architectures.
