Perplexity has announced expansions to its enterprise offerings, introducing Internal Knowledge Search, Spaces, and a new Channel Partners Programme.
In a move to enhance its AI-driven research capabilities, Perplexity has launched Internal Knowledge Search for its Pro and Enterprise Pro users. This feature allows users to search across both public web content and their internal knowledge bases simultaneously, addressing one of the most requested functionalities from its user base.
Aravind Srinivas, CEO of Perplexity, stresseded the uniqueness of this offering: "Searching the web in the context of what's relevant to a particular business has never been possible before. Web and internal search have had to rely on infrastructure and products that were separate."
The company also introduced Perplexity Spaces, described as AI-powered collaboration hubs customisable for specific use cases. These Spaces allow teams to work together on research projects, with features including collaborator invitations, internal file connections, and AI assistant customisation.
In tandem with these product updates, Perplexity announced its Select Channel Partner Programme for Enterprise Pro customers. The programme's initial partners include FactSet, Crunchbase, Kruze, Stripe, Opal, and Inteleos. This expansion aims to leverage the domain expertise of partners, to better serve customers and offer enhanced local support.
Kristy Karnovsky, EVP and Head of Dealmakers and Wealth at FactSet, commented on the partnership: "FactSet is thrilled to provide our trusted data through Perplexity's innovative research channel, enriching the discovery and reliability of financial information for our mutual clients."
Megh Gautam, Chief Product Officer at Crunchbase, added: "Crunchbase is excited to enter a strategic partnership with Perplexity, delivering our powerful, private company data to Perplexity's Enterprise Pro users through our data licensing API."
Perplexity has seen significant adoption since introducing Enterprise Pro in April, with over 1,500 organisations now using the platform. The company states that its services are being used across various sectors, including financial services, sales teams, HR departments, and growth-stage startups.
Looking ahead, Perplexity plans to add third-party data integrations with Crunchbase and FactSet for Enterprise Pro customers who have active subscriptions to these services. This will allow users to expand their knowledge base further by searching across the public web, internal files, and proprietary data sets.
