The integration of Vox Media's content into OpenAI's ChatGPT marks another content partnership for OpenAl. With over 100 million users, ChatGPT will now draw upon content from Vox Media's portfolio of properties, including Vox, The Verge, Eater, New York Magazine, The Cut, Vulture, and SB Nation.

In addition to enhancing ChatGPT, Vox Media will leverage OpenAI's technology to develop  products for its consumers and advertising partners. One example of this is the enhancement of Vox Media's affiliate commerce product, The Strategist Gift Scout. 

The partnership between Vox Media and OpenAI could have interesting implications for the advertising industry. Vox Media's first-party data platform, Forte, will be extended using OpenAI technology, with the end goal being a higher campaign performance for advertisers.
